MONTY LOVAT (MONTAGUE ABINGTON) Peacefully, on Sunday, April 1, 2007, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Monty Lovat passed away with his family by his side at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Kay; his brothers, Peter, Douglas, Michael; his sister Margot Simpson; and a son Peter. He is survived by his children from his first marriage, Lauri Skitch, Debbie McGrath and Bill Lovat. Monty will also be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Adeline; and her children, Diana (Alain) Perron, Sandra Carriere (Nilo Medina), Stan (Donna) Hamilton; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
